What we need
You will need to provide information about your energy usage and the property where the system will be installed. Your energy usage determines the solar system size you need to generate the electricity your home, business or institution uses, including the amount of electricity used by appliances like refrigerators and air conditioners. We also calculate future usage plans such as electric vehicles, number of people using the electricity and what time of day they will use it.
The best way to share this information is to send us a copy of a complete, recent utility bill. If the property is in Northern California, here are instructions on how to get a copy of your PG&E bill. Otherwise, your utility will have information on locating a recent bill.
The property address allows us to calculate the size and condition of your roof and how much sun it receives. It also determines the processes for permitting and inspections by your city and utility.
If you plan to repair or replace your roof (reroof) in the near future, now is an excellent time to contact us about a solar or energy storage quote. Occidental Power will work with your roofer to install brackets during their process.
